The project began with a clear business problem and enough research to build a sensible answer. By the final review, the strategy had become a group exercise in favourite colours, personal taste and what somebody's cousin had seen online.
The brief asked for strategy. The feedback asked whether we could just make the logo bigger. Every explanation invited another opinion from someone who had not attended the earlier discussions.
I can laugh now, but the frustration was real. Expertise should welcome challenge. It should not have to restart from zero every time a new person joins the call with Wi-Fi and a preference.
